The Academy welcomes several familiar faces back to its brass staff, and introduces a few new ones.

Blue Knights invite all who have performed with the organization's various ensembles to participate in an alumni performance and celebration of the corps' 60th anniversary on July 14 at the Drums Along the Rockies DCI Tour event in Denver.
Blue Stars announced its returning brass staff members. “We're so pleased to see such continuity in our brass staff,” caption head Ward Miller said.

Meet the members of Cadets' 2018 brass staff. "I am so excited that we are returning such a veteran and seasoned staff," brass caption supervisor Drew Shanefield said. "Coming off the heels of our first season together, we are ready to get back to work.”
Carolina Crown has a variety of open positions available as part of the corps' 2018 tour support staff.

The members of Crossmen's design team and caption leadership will be made up of familiar faces in 2018. “To have such a high level of continuity as we move into next season, for the entire Crossmen organization is exciting,” program coordinator Ed Devlin said.
Heat Wave posted its roster of brass staff members who will be led in 2018 by caption head Stathis Linardos.
Impulse will soon have a brand new alumni association. The first meeting will be held on November 19 at Bell Gardens (California) High School.
Mitch Rogers, former drill designer for the Bluecoats, Troopers, and Cavaliers, is the new visual designer for Jersey Surf. Other new staff members on the creative team include program coordinator Thomas Kershaw, color guard designer Rob Watson, and percussion arranger Bobby Scott.
Legends reports that all members of the corps' 2017 design staff will return in 2018. “John [Max McFarland, program coordinator] and his team have really started to blossom as a creative force, and I know the activity will be excited to see what we have in store for 2018,” executive director Ibe Sodawalla said.
On the heels of revealing its new design staff members, Louisiana Stars posted its complete roster of 2018 instructional staff.
Madison Scouts announced its complete roster of 2018 brass staff members. Among the new additions is alum Dave Cooksey who will serve as brass program advisor.
The audition process and requirements for drum majors has been added to Oregon Crusaders' collection of audition resources.
Phantom Regiment announced the members of the corps' 2018 brass staff. First-year caption head Brad Toth will lead the group.
Pioneer has added an audition workshop at Butler University in Indianapolis on December 16.

Seattle Cascades will host an open house for prospective corps members on Saturday, November 18 in Lynwood, Washington.
Spartans made a number of key additions to the corps' instructional staff including its brass, percussion and color guard sections.
