Operation: GrowDrumCorps

Spring has sprung and the summer is drawing nearer, leaving no better time to get on board with the Operation: GrowDrumCorps campaign to benefit your favorite corps!

During this special period, all of Drum Corps International's World, Open and All-Age Class corps are banding together to engage in a special contest designed to give you, your friends, family and neighbors an added incentive to enjoy a 2012 DCI Tour event in your area.

Not only will you have the chance to experience the thrilling performances of the 2012 DCI Tour, but you'll also be able to directly support the outstanding young people who comprise Marching Music's Major League™.

Here's how you can help

1. Between Monday, April 16, and Monday, May 21, Purchase tickets to select 2012 Drum Corps International Tour events.

2. Enter the special ID number of your favorite corps during the checkout process.

3. Corps will receive a 5% commission credit for every ticket purchased using their unique ID number during the five-week period. In addition, the corps with the most credits at the end of the promotion will receive a cash prize of $2,500 and will appear in the coveted "final performance slot" at their choice of one of the Sunday through Wednesday events on the 2012 DCI Tour schedule. The second-place finisher will receive an additional $1,000, with third through fifth places each receiving $500 each.


4. Help spread the word. Using Twitter hashtag #growdrumcorps and by posting to your Facebook page, you can help us to GrowDrumCorps by creating a buzz about the upcoming tour.
