From a Bluecoats’ press release:

The Bluecoats are proud to announce the appointments of Mike McIntosh to the position music coordinator and Mike Tarr to the position visual coordinator.

Mike McIntosh comes to the Bluecoats after serving as the percussion caption head of the Cavaliers from 2000-2003. As music coordinator of the Bluecoats, Mike’s responsibilities will include day-to-day management of the corps’ music education process, as well as coordination of the overall music ensemble. He will also serve as the percussion designer/arranger.

McIntosh is a former marching member of the Blue Devils. In addition to working with the Bluecoats, McIntosh’s fall and spring activities include composing, arranging, and consulting with several WGI indoor percussion ensembles, as well as fulfilling his role as the percussion coordinator for the Carmel Clay School District in Carmel, Ind. In 2003, Mike was voted by his peers to be the percussion representative of the DCI Judges Task Force.

Mike Tarr steps into the position of visual coordinator after serving as a visual instructor for the Bluecoats since the 2001 season. Tarr will direct the day-to-day visual education process, and will be “on-the-tower” as the coordinator of the Bluecoats’ overall visual package.

Tarr began his drum corps career as a marching member of the Cavaliers from 1988-1994, and served on their visual staff from 1995 until 1998. In 2000, Mike was the visual caption head of the Glassmen. He also spent the last 10 years on the visual staff of Michigan’s very successful Plymouth-Canton Marching Band, including serving the last five of those years as visual caption head. In addition to working with the Bluecoats, Mike is a visual instructor for Kell High School in the Atlanta area.
