DC-eye: Big shoes to fill
Thursday, September 23, 2010 - 3:35 PM
Nathanael B. submitted this photo and caption. This photo was taken during the age-out ceremony at the 2010 World Championships. It's Pacific Crest tradition that the age-outs leave their shoes on the field in the shape of the corps logo, but this year the age-outs honored our drum major who passed away last year, Zach Headden, by spelling out his initials. Zach's shoes are placed in front and were also on the front field podium during our Championship performance. This would have been Zach's age-out year.
“DC-eye” is DCI.org's popular photo-of-the-day feature showcasing images submitted from the lenses of drum corps fans around the world. If you’ve got a drum corps themed picture you’d like to share, e-mail it to dceye@dci.org, along with a description of where and when the photo was taken. Send some biographical information about yourself as well, and we’ll give you full credit.
