Each January during the annual winter meeting of the Drum Corps International Board of Directors, rules changes may be considered.

Once the material is received by the DCI Rules Committee it may be referred to a number of DCI Board Committees (finance, marketing, promoter's task force, judge/instructors task force, etc.) for input.
The deadline for all proposals is Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009 at 11:59 p.m.
A final vote on all proposals is taken by the Board of Directors at the annual winter meeting in January.
