The Tour of Champions event series is an exciting live entertainment format featuring top World Class corps. Spectators will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the drum corps experience with exclusive fan-member interaction, pre-show and intermission entertainment, and an en masse finale on top of the corps' traditional competitive productions.
Champions Up Close
Small ensembles of corps members will perform for fans as they enter the stadium and during intermissions. Plus, you'll have the chance to "meet and greet" with members from your favorite corps before and after the show!
Opening Ceremony
A display of tradition, respect and innovation will be utilized to present the American Flag and the National Anthem.
The Main Event
Each participating drum corps will perform its competitive production in its entirety. Performance order will be mixed up from event to event to keep things interesting. While the Blue Devils may go on last at one event, you might see them at the beginning or middle of the lineup at another.
En Masse Finale
A spectacular combined finale will delight fans old and new when all of the corps' brass sections, along with percussion and color guard members, perform together.
Cumulative Scoring
NEW FOR 2013: While each Tour of Champions event will be based on the DCI judging system, a sequential scoring system will be used across all seven shows similar to those used in NASCAR and other sporting events. The cumulative scoring will result in a season-long champion named at the final Tour of Champions event in Buffalo.
