When will the Drum Corps International World Championships be broadcast?
The program will air on ESPN2 Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007 at 10 p.m. Eastern time / 9 p.m. Central time / 8 p.m. Mountain time / 7 p.m. Pacific time. |

Will the program be repeated?
After the initial airing, the two-hour program will be rebroadcast on ESPN2, split into two one-hour episodes first on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 2 p.m. Eastern time and then on Thursday, Sept. 27 also at 2 p.m. Eastern time. |

Are there any other times that the program will be repeated?
Possibly. Drum Corps International's agreement with ESPN gives permission to re-air one or both hour-long programs at its discretion. |

Will complete corps performances be shown?
No. With the limit of a two-hour programming block with commercials, it is only possible to show highlights of individual corps performances. |

Which corps will appear on the program?
Performance excerpts of the top 10 corps who performed at the 2007 DCI World Championship will be shown. The program will also offer a segment with highlights of the two corps that appeared earlier in the event. The featured corps will include: Glassmen, Boston Crusaders, Blue Knights, Bluecoats, Carolina Crown, Santa Clara Vanguard, Phantom Regiment, The Cavaliers, The Cadets and Blue Devils. To maintain the integrity of the live event, each will appear in performance order and not in order of finish. The corps appearing in the highlights segment will be the Colts and Spirit from Jacksonville State University. |

Why ESPN2? What ever happened to PBS?
Drum Corps International made the decision to move its World Championship broadcast to cable television in 2005. This move allows Drum Corps International to better control when and where the program will air and to promote it to new fans and others that might find it of interest. ESPN2 currently covers 91.8 million households (82 percent of U.S. TV households). |

Who will produce the Drum Corps International World Championships broadcast on ESPN2?
Drum Corps International has had a long and fruitful relationship with Emmy-award winning producer Tom Blair and his company, Tom Blair, Inc. Blair has worked on the World Championship broadcasts for more than 20 years. |

Will there be commercials?
Like most television programs, the cost of production and air time are recouped through the sale of advertising and sponsorship. In order to be able to financially support the Drum Corps International World Championships broadcast on ESPN2, there will be commercials contained within the program which are consistent with Drum Corps International's strategic objectives and ESPN2's guidelines. |

Who will sponsor the program?
The Drum Corps International World Championships broadcast on ESPN2 will again be presented in part by NAMM, the International Music Products Association. Other advertising partners include the Indianapolis Convention & Visitors Association, the United States Marine Corps, Pearl, Avedis Zildjian, DeMoulin Brothers & Co., Director's Showcase, Fred J. Miller, Inc. and Winter Guard International. |

Will ESPN personalities and talent be involved?
Drum Corps International will again rely on its own production and talent pools for this program. Veteran Drum Corps International broadcasters Steve Rondinaro and Dennis Delucia will again host this program assisted by Jessica Allen. |

Will the program be available in HD?
No. While much of ESPN2 programming is simulcast on ESPN-HD, Drum Corps International will not be able to offer this program in high-definition at this time. |
