Blue Devils

The Blue Devils C open house for prospective members will be held on Thursday, November 1.
Blue Stars

The Cadets
Sam Wilson is returning for his second season as The Cadets’ color guard caption head. See who comprises the rest of the corps’ 2019 guard staff.
Carolina Crown
Carolina Crown is seeking a food truck manager responsible for menu planning, food inventory, and food preparation for the corps’ entire 2019 summer tour.
Crossmen
The seventh annual Crossmen Invitational Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday, October 21, at the Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club in Keller, Texas.
Genesis
Cameron Wilson is gearing up for his fifth and final season with Genesis as drum major, joined by third-year member Francesca Ramirez.
Gold
C.C. Waggoner, a former marching member of Bluecoats and Blue Devils, will be directing the leadership and drum major training programs for Gold in 2019.
Legends
Audition materials are now available for all sections of Legends’ 2019 corps.
Madison Scouts
Caption manager Chuck Naffier will be leading a Madison Scouts brass staff that includes several members with extensive educational pedigrees.
Mandarins
Returning Mandarins brass caption manager Tim Snyder will be leading a staff of 14 members for the corps’ 2019 season.
Music City
Matt Penland and Tyler Sammons, both Santa Clara Vanguard staff members, have joined Music City as percussion designers.
Oregon Crusaders
Oregon Crusaders named the members of the corps’ 2019 design staff who will be led by program coordinator Keith Dunton and education and program consultant Daniel Galloway.
Raiders
Bob Gupta has been announced as the director of Raiders’ new program development team, which among other responsibilities is charged with developing new programs for the corps’ parent organziation A+ Education and Performing Arts.
River City Rhythm
River City Rhythm has created a staff interest form for those wishing to work with the corps in 2019.
Santa Clara Vangaurd
Previously serving as corps manager, David Yunis has been named Santa Clara Vanguard’s new corps director. Charles Frost, executive director of Vanguard Music and Performing Arts, says of David, “Since the day he arrived, it was clear that he was a great fit for the organization.”
Seattle Cascades
Seattle Cascades will sponsor an open house for all performers in Bonney Lake, Washington on November 17.
Shadow
As a fundraiser, Shadow is seeking volunteers to help corps members remove seats at Madison’s Camp Randall Stadium, the site of many fond DCI memories.
Southwind
There will be a Q&A session with Southwind percussion caption head Elanders Frazier the evening of Thursday, November 1.
Spirit of Atlanta
Nominations will be accepted until December 2 for the 2019 class of the Spirit of Atlanta Hall of Fame.
Troopers
Troopers are kicking off “Crescendo 11,” a campaign to replace the corps’ well-worn brass instruments with new Yamaha horns.
