This year the Bluecoats will produce Q-Stix, a percussion ensemble for the NBA World Champion Cleveland Cavaliers. Open auditions will be held on September 18 in Cleveland.

The annual Crusaders Golf Classic will take place on September 30 in Attleborough, Massachusetts.
The Cadets
Youth Education in the Arts’ secondary drum corps, Cadets2, won its very first Drum Corps Associates World Championship title over Labor Day Weekend.
Carolina Crown
DCI Hall of Fame member Jeff Sacktig is among a number of new hires to Carolina Crown’s design team.
The Cavaliers
The Cavaliers will host a Top Golf Party fundraiser on Sunday, September 18 in Naperville, Illinois. The event will feature a raffle with a $10,000 grand prize.
Colts
Colts appointed Jason Schubert to the position of director of operations and media. “Jason’s experiences as a member, drum major, staff member and tour director all provide a great foundation for his new role with the Colts organization,” director Vicki MacFarlane said.
Crossmen
Crossmen appointed Blake Daughtrey as the corps’ visual caption head for 2017, joining new visual designer, Andy Ebert.
Mandarins
Mandarins named the members of its educational staff for the 2016 Mandarins Academy, a series of educational sessions focused on raising students’ performance level in brass, color guard, percussion, woodwind, and drum major leadership.
Music City
Music City named the new and returning staff members who will serve as caption heads for the corps’ 2017 season.
Oregon Crusaders
Tim Snyder has been named the new brass caption head of the Oregon Crusaders.
Phantom Regiment
Wes Cartright has been named Phantom Regiment’s artistic director, joined by visual designer Mark Moreno.
