Blue Devils
DCI Hall of Fame member Shirley Dorritie will present at the 2012 System Blue Midwest Drum Major and Leadership Camp. The camp runs from July 12 to 14 in Minneapolis, Minn. Students will work on leadership skills, conductor and score study techniques and learns ways to help their band directors run effective rehearsals.
Bluecoats
Continuing their tour down memory lane, the Bluecoats posted a video, looking back into the corps’ history during the 1980s.
Boston Crusaders
The Crusaders Senior Drum and Bugle Corps will take part in the inaugural Marshfield Summerfest parade on Sunday, July 8 in Marshfield, Mass. The parade will begin at Library Plaza at 11 a.m.
The Cadets
The Cadets’ first home show of the season — Drum Corps: An American Tradition — scheduled for Saturday, July 7 has been postponed to 8 p.m. due to expected high temperatures. The complete revised schedule can be found on the corps’ website.
The Cavaliers
A Cavaliers staff member is expected to make a full recovery after sustaining multiple injuries before DCI Central Indiana. No marching members, volunteers or additional staff members were injured during the weather-related incident.
Colts
The Colts took part in two parades this Fourth of July — in both Bristol, R.I. and Wakefield, Mass. Check out a video of their Bristol performance on YouTube.
Glassmen
On Wednesday, July 11 at 5 p.m., Glassmen will host their annual Pre-Show Chicken Barbecue and Celebration for Glassmen members alumni, friends and fans. It’s in conjunction with the All-Star Review Drum Corps Show at Doyt Perry Stadium in Bowling Green, Ohio.

Madison Scouts
The Madison Scouts have once again partnered with the Mid-American Competing Band Director’s Association for the Whitewater Classic. Now in its second year, the DCI Tour event is on Friday, July 6 at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Oregon Crusaders
Oregon Crusaders posted a 20-second clip of their 2012 field show “Dreaming in Color.” The corps will perform on Friday, July 15 at Liberty High School in Hillsboro, Ore. for their Send-Off Gala.
Pioneer
The third annual “Gathering of the Clans” alumni reunion is set for Saturday, July 14 in Milwaukee, Wis. Alumni from the Mercury Thunderbolts, Imperials of St. Patrick and Pioneer are invited to attend.
Santa Clara Vanguard
Santa Clara Vanguard is offering fans a free five-day holiday preview of SCV-TV. This special promotion, which offers fans video content from the early 2000s to today, runs from Wednesday, July 4 to Sunday, July 8.
