This moment in time was taken a few minutes before Impulse’s 2007 performance in Bakersfield, Calif. The weather was undeniably hot and to keep us entertained we had a gorilla toy that danced the Macarena. I remember all of us doing the dance and had plenty of onlookers smile or scratch their heads in confusion. Needless to say, it was a great way to bond and relieve the stress of the upcoming performance. After all, every section has its pre-show hypes, right?
