Jay Kennedy will return to the Boston Crusaders for the 2008 season as program coordinator. He has worked with the corps since 2002 as composer and arranger. Currently serving as the assistant vice president for academic affairs at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Kennedy was nominated for induction into the DCI Hall of Fame in 2007.

The Madison Scouts organization has announced that Dann Petersen will serve as corps director the 2008 season. Petersen is an alum of the Madison Junior Scouts and Madison Scouts, and holds his master’s degree from Oregon University in international studies.

The Oregon Crusaders have named Ron Barnett corps director, a position where he will help manage the corps’ operations, staff, members and collaborate with the executive director and board of directors on strategic direction. Todd Zimbelman will oversee creative and instructional staff and the Oregon Crusader’s artistic program as the corps’ new program and staff coordinator.

The Cadets

The Cadets have announced the return and addition of several key staff members including: percussion designer and director Tom Aungst, caption supervisor Colin McNutt, brass caption head Gino Cipriani, brass arranger Jay Bocook and visual designer Jeff SaktigApril Gilligan will return to the corps to coordinate the color guard recruiting, planning, staff coordination, and more. Former Boston Crusaders director Howard Weinstein has been added as assistant director and assistant program coordinator.
