Saint Peter, Minnesota�s Govenaires can trace their roots all the way back to 1927 when the group was organized as the St. Peter Legion Corps. The corps took its current name in the late 1960s in honor of five Minnesota governors who had come from the corps� hometown. First competing at the Drum Corps Associates Championships in 2004, Govenaires took top honors in DCA�s Class A four times and was the inaugural DCI All-Age Class A Champion in 2024. Govenaires will travel to Ireland to perform in the Rose of Tralee celebration in August of 2025.
