Showcasing the opportunity to learn and play alongside a “drum corps in residence,” six DCI Event Day Clinics powered by USBands are set to be featured across the 2026 DCI Summer Tour.
These educational events — a staple of the DCI summer season since 2022 — provide students and marching music educators the chance to learn from the world’s premier ensembles and the industry’s top instructors.
Across the 2026 DCI Tour, six major stops will feature a USBands educational clinic during the afternoon hours prior to the start of the evening’s competitive event. Open to all categories of marching music performers and educators, clinic participants will work directly alongside a “corps-in-residence.”
As part of the experience, attendees will go behind the scenes to witness the “ins and outs” of the drum corps’ rehearsal process. At select events, students will also have the exciting opportunity to learn and perform portions of the featured drum corps’ 2026 field production.
Growth for educators
DCI Event Day Clinics aren’t just for students. Educators attending USBands events can earn professional development credits while observing masterclass-level instruction. Additionally, groups can take advantage of a special incentive: one free educator registration is available for every 10 students registered.
Other features include:
- Immersive learning: A half-day clinic (approximately 4 hours) taking place at the stadium venue
- Sectional focus: Various sessions for winds, percussion, color guard, and educators
- Side-by-side experience: Interactive sessions with members and staff of the “corps-in-residence”
- Show excerpts: Learn actual music and choreography from the 2026 DCI season at select events
- Exclusive swag: Every registration includes a commemorative T-shirt and a ticket to that evening’s DCI Tour event
