Twin brothers Neil and Terry Connolly, alums of the Boston Crusaders, started the Crusaders Senior in 1991 as an opportunity to renew old friendships and maintain the traditions of their beloved junior corps. Today, membership in the Crusaders Senior is not limited to alumni, and the corps attracts performers from a variety of other corps and bands. Since its startup, the group has established its own identity as a parade and exhibition group and is one of the only corps to appear in every Drum Corps Associates Alumni Spectacular event since 1998.
