Founded in 2014, Golden Empire was started to give youth the opportunity to further their skills in brass, percussion and visual performance. The drum corps is an extension of the Bakersfield College Drumline program. Golden Empire earned a finalist spot in the corps� very first trip to the DCI World Championships in 2018 and in recent years has followed a California-centric tour schedule.
