A drum and bugle corps with a familiar name, Memphis Blues is a reboot of the Memphis Blues Brass Band of the 1980s. Bringing the drum corps experience back to students in the Memphis area, the corps made its return to the field in 2023 appearing as part of DCI’s SoundSport program. In the second year of a three-year evaluation process, Memphis Blues is currently recognized as an Open Class Affiliate.
