Founded in 2013, Phenom was created to fill a void for students looking for a summer marching music experience at an affordable and local level in Tempe, Arizona. The group first took the field in 2014 as part of Drum Corps International’s SoundSport program before becoming an Open Class drum corps ensemble in 2020.
