Shadow Information
Shadow traces its roots back to 1972 and the genesis of the Oregon High School Summer Marching Band. The band, comprised almost exclusively of students from Oregon, Wisconsin, performed several field shows each year as part of the Mid-America Competing Band Directors Association. As the ensemble improved and times changed, staff members saw participation in the annual DCI Tour as a way to enhance their members’ summer experience while continuing the rich history of the organization. 2016 marked the group’s first season competing as an Open Class corps.
