Ralph Pace has displayed a creative ability to design innovative and groundbreaking drills throughout his brilliant writing for Blue Rock, 27th Lancers, Crossmen, Phantom Regiment, Spirit of Atlanta, and Cavaliers. Drum corps crowds have responded with countless standing ovations for his stunning visual effects and design concepts. He demonstrated a unique skill for developing and layering effects that resulted in high praise from audiences and judges alike.
His work has clearly had a dramatic and far-reaching impact on the drum corps activity. Even given Ralph’s great accomplishments as a drum corps designer and instructor, his involvement has always been centered around working with the members and working for the members. Pace explained: “All I have ever attempted to do in drum corps is to reach out to kids.”
