Drum Corps International Hall of Fame member and Drum Corps World publisher Steve Vickers in cooperation with the Troopers, has released a brand new DVD set featuring performances from the 1972 DCI World Championship in Whitewater, Wis. Previously unavailable in any format, the performances have been restored and digitized from reel-to-reel tapes acquired from the personal collection of the late Troopers director Jim Jones. Included on the two-disc set are eight of the 12 World Championship Finalists from 1972, in addition to the 1971 Troopers and a short documentary on the restoration project. The DVD set can be ordered through the Drum Corps World Web site, or by calling 800.554.9630. Proceeds from the series will benefit the Troopers and Drum Corps International. Orders received by Dec. 10 will be mailed in time for the Christmas holiday. Learn more about the restoration project, and order today at DrumCorpsWorld.com.
