Three rules will be voted on at the DCI winter meetings from Jan. 27 to Jan. 29 in Pasadena, Calif. Instructors and corps directors will deliberate on these proposals at those meetings. Rule number one is about the location of the sound board that allows for corps amplification, and who operates that sound board. Rule number one was submitted by George Hopkins of YEA! Rule number two would change the sheet that judges use to adjudicate color guard performances. It was submitted by Denise Bonfiglio and Marc Sylvester, representing the Cadets. Rule number three would extend the front boundary of the front sideline from 10 feet to 12 feet. It was submitted by Ron Hardin, representing the Santa Clara Vanguard.
