Originally scheduled to take place at Vanderbilt University in Nashville on July 27, the Masters of the Summer Music Games presented by Jupiter, Mapex and Majestic will be relocated in 2018 to Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

The competition, which is set to feature the Blue Devils, Blue Knights, Bluecoats, Boston Crusaders, Cadets, Carolina Crown, Cavaliers, Music City and Santa Clara Vanguard, will instead take place at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU).

“The athletic department at Vanderbilt has been fantastic in exhausting every option in an effort to make our event work on their campus, but it has become more and more of a logistical challenge to host this event on a Friday night in Nashville,” said Susan Kuehnhold, DCI senior director of event development. “We are fortunate that MTSU has once again opened its doors to us and will welcome us back in 2018.”

The relocated Masters of the Summer Music Games will be hosted on Friday, July 27 at MTSU’s 30,000-seat Johnny "Red" Floyd Stadium. The facility is no stranger to the DCI Tour, last hosting the event in 2015 with a long history dating back to 1999.

Tickets for the 2018 Masters of the Summer Music Games presented by Jupiter, Mapex and Majestic are expected to go on sale in April.
