From the Cavaliers Web site: The Cavaliers are ready for the 2006 winter camp schedule, now that they have completed the audition process (and re-audition process for the returning veterans) at their December final audition camp. The corps opened the new season back on Thanksgiving weekend with their annual clinic/audition for the first part of a two-round audition. New auditionees and returning veterans gathered at Triton College in River Grove, Ill. The December camp's agenda of completing auditions, as well as moving ahead on the technique and summer program ran parallel schedules. By Friday afternoon's conclusion, the corps had not only selected the membership and students with alternate status, the brass and percussion sections were a few minutes into the initial draft of the entire 2006 program and performed those in ensemble at the end of the camp. The Cavaliers program coordinator Scott Koter presented the 2006 membership with some background and more of the story of the coming summer's "Machine" program.
