During the DCI World Championship in Indianapolis, DCI.org caught up with a collector who has amassed an extraordinary historical assortment of uniforms, shakos, corps jackets and other marching music memorabilia dating all the way back to the 1930s.

Bill Ives, who works as Jersey Surf's merchandise manager during the summer months, brought a small sampling of his collection to display at Lucas Oil Stadium.

“I had eight uniforms to start with and over the last 25 years [the set] went from eight uniforms to 160 uniforms,” said Ives who also has 75 shakos, 60 corps jackets and 600 records in his collection.
