A letter from the Magic of Orlando

by Drum Corps International

The Magic of Orlando would like to thank its fellow corps for all the help given during the time the food trailer was laid up. Donated food, cooked meals, storage for refrigerated food was all part of this. The drum corps activity is about competition, but off the field, it is about friendship and good will. The help given to Magic over the past 11 days is beyond anything we could have imagined. Our staff has stepped up to the plate on the rehearsal field, but more importantly off the field. Money cannot buy heart and what this staff has done can never be forgotten. Our thanks to the volunteers for enduring this hardship and working through times that were impossible. We would also like to recognize Drum Corps International especially Dan Acheson for his help and support through this difficult time and Dahlke Trailer of New Brighton, Minn., for the swiftness in rebuilding the entire underside framing. Because of these people, Magic will see you in Orlando. Sincerely,
Dennis Cappello
Magic of Orlando executive director
