Madison, Wis., DCI Division II & III World Championships Preliminaries – The Americanos of Menasha, Wis., dangled a giant, star-shaped prop resembling a Christmas tree ornament this afternoon, and their program began with a chime riff that sounded like church bells. The Americanos scored 82.8.The Americanos' 2002 Production of "Polaris" is an adaptation of "La Fiesta Mexicana" composed by H. Owen Reed, with additional score elements from "Symphonic Dances number 3" by Clifton Williams, according to the corps' Web site.
