They are, from left to right, Hidemi Furudate (trumpet), Akane Yamakawa (mellophone), Etsuko Yamaguchi (front ensemble), Madoka Kawanaka (mellophone) and Mayako Oda (snare). This photo was taken at our last California rehearsal before leaving on tour.
The Mandarins are proud to have had members from Japan every year since 2001. This goes to show how drum corps is truly an international experience.
