Also, let us know if you want your e-mail address included. Jamie Fregien sent in this one. "My friend, Emily, talked me into doing this. I'm 18 years old and just recently graduated from high school. I live in Nekoosa, Wis., and will be attending Luther College in the fall. "I have family that marched drum corps in the past and they are the initial reason I'm interested in it. They marched in Pioneer and have attended shows and supported the corps since they stopped marching. I marched in the Nekoosa High School marching band all four years (I played clarinet and bass drum, and was drum major). "This picture was taken at the Blue Stars home show in La Crosse, Wis., on July 29 of this year. It is of me and my best friend, Zach Skoubis, outside of the buses. Zach is in his second year marching color guard with the Blue Stars and he's raised my level of interest in drum corps significantly. "Because of him, I've attended quite a few shows in the past two years and I'm always on DCI.org or the Blue Stars Web sites looking for recent scores or new articles. Although I've never marched drum corps myself, I hope that next summer I'll be able to join the Blue Stars for the summer." Thanks Jamie!
