This photo was taken in the minutes leading up to our 2008 World Championship performance. We did this "pre-show hype" before every show, getting us ready to go out on the field to do what we love. Kayla (on the left) and I have been friends since second grade. She was the one who introduced me to the Glassmen in 2005.
Marching with the 2008 Glassmen as a rookie member was such an incredible experience, and the fact that I was able to march with my best friend made it that much better. We both love this activity and this drum corps so much that we have our hearts set on marching with the Glassmen until we age out in 2011.
