Producer Tom Blair (left) and Dan Acheson
Tom Blair, longtime producer of Drum Corps International PBS broadcasts and producer of DCI audio and video products, will again produce DCI DVDs, CDs and the PBS broadcast in 2003.

The format of the PBS broadcast will be similar to 2002 format -- PBS stations across the country will be offered a two-hour program that will focus not only on the World Championship competition, but also on the drum corps experience as told by performers from different corps. The program will be available to begin airing on Public Television stations during the Labor Day weekend.

"With the success of last year's program, DCI is thrilled that Tom Blair will again produce the audio/video products and the PBS program," said Dan Acheson, DCI executive director.

Blair, who has produced and directed every DCI product since 1987 (except from 1995 to 1998), is excited to again work with DCI. "I'm looking forward to working with DCI again in 2003, and to producing the best possible product for drum corps fans, as well as getting our message out to the rest of the world through PBS."
