Due to the tremendous success of the “PHX Percussion,” a collaboration with BDEntertainment and the Phoenix Suns, last season, Blue Devils Entertainment has become the 2005-2006 NBA Game Day Entertainment resource. One year ago BDE met with the NBA office and formed a partnership to provide entertainment for their teams. We all hoped it would grow to where it is today.
With help and advice from NBA entertainment director Felisa Israel, BDE has acted in an advisory role as well as providing some of the most talented arrangers and performers in the country for the 05-06 season. As Israel pointed out, “The bar was set really high with the PHX group so we have to one up ourselves.” In 2005, the PHX Percussion group, produced by BDE, went on to perform at the NBA all-star game in Denver last February.
