Blue Devils in blue coats

by Drum Corps International

Jessika Filler, a mellophone player in the Blue Devils "B" corps, sent in this one. "The date is Sept. 1, 2003 and a bunch of Blue Devils "B" kids met at my house to celebrate the airing of the DCI finals broadcast. This was taken in my backyard. From left to right are Austin (soprano), me (mellophone) and Chelsea (soprano), all sporting our corps jackets, even though it was close to triple digits outside. We had all just completed our rookie year in the Blue Devils "B" and are very proud of our big brothers and sisters and their great job at finals! "I'm 16 years old and I live in Danville, Calif. (about 15 minutes from Concord)." Thanks Jessika!
