The Blue Devils continued their unbeaten streak on Monday night in Louisville. The corps came in first place with a score of 89.450.

Phantom Regiment came in second place with a score of 86.850; Carolina Crown was in third place with a 82.450. Following them was Glassmen, Spirit from JSU, Southwind and Pioneer.

Blue Devils' drum major Brian Howard said about the win: "It feels good. It's the culmination of a long day's worth of practice and hard work." On the rest of season, Drum Major Brandyn Bettencourt had this to say: "We definitely have a lot of hard work coming up. Our show is getting better, and I think everyone's show is getting better. You're definitely going to see a lot of improvement with a lot of drum corps soon."

Drum corps are now making their way south on their way to the DCI San Antonio Southwestern Championship on Saturday, July 22, 2006.
