Blue Knights' drum line will likely be featured this Friday morning in Denver on the CBS News Early Show. Blue Knights' director Mark Arnold was contacted by a producer looking for a group that could perform as part of the show's cross-country segment called "Great American Vacation." In this feature, Early Show reporters travel across the country in a Winnebago, stopping at various locations to give away dream vacations.

The drum line will leave tonight from Evanston, Wyo., from a rehearsal in order to make it to the Denver Civic Center Park, where the 30 second segment of the drum line playing selections from their 2006 program is expected to air at approximately 5:30 a.m. Mountain Time.

"This is a tremendous opportunity to perform live for a national network audience!" said Arnold. "The members are very excited and this will certainly give the Blue Knights and the entire drum corps activity great national exposure."
