From a Blue Knights press release: Thre members of the Blue Knights weighed in with camp reports: Pat Amann, percussion: "The camp was awesome! The percussion section took huge strides towards greatness. We have a very talented group of kids that are committed to making the Blue Knights the best. The 2005 production is coming along nicely. The corps played the first four minutes of the production at this camp. Very exciting stuff! The design team is working hard to keep up with our goal of having the show music
complete by March. I want to thank my awesome staff, Greg Kitto, Lee
Harrison, Josh Nelson and Jeff Ausdemore, for a great camp." Joni Viertel, brass: "The official horn line was set at this past camp, and we're looking forward to working with a great group of brass players for this season. The horn line was able to spend a lot of time detailing and refining the show music that they've received so far, and it's been fun watching them get excited about it!" Katy Eichelberger, color guard: "Camp went really well for the color guard. Brian Sutton was at the camp and wrote quite a bit of work for the guard. We did have a low turnout, however, because of the winter guard season. However, we are very excited about the process the guard is making and the camp was very successful."
