From a Blue Knights press release: The Blue Knights are continuing to make great strides in preparation for the summer rehearsals, after an April camp was held this past weekend at Chaparral High School in Parker, Colo. "April camp was a great success, in spite of the snow," stated Pat Amann, percussion caption head. "We now have 3 minutes and 10 seconds worth of the show on the field (29 pages). Musically we have the entire show complete. We still have a little work to do to get the "final draft" complete, but we are very close to being complete. The percussion section begins summer rehearsals on May 24." "It was a great camp!" stated Blue Knights director Mark Arnold. "In spite of a slow start due to a spring blizzard on Thursday, we were still out getting sunburned on Saturday and learning another couple of minutes of drill! One of the camp highlights was during the show and tell on Sunday where we were treated to a performance of part of our musical ensemble and a great performance by our color guard. It was great seeing all of the members of our guard back after their participation in WGI winter guards."
The corps next camp will be held during the Memorial Day weekend when all of the membership will move in for the summer.
