From a Blue Knights press release: The Blue Knights have been busy since departing the Midwest after the Normal, Ill., show. Upon their return to Denver, the corps began making planned changes on their program and are doing several local performances to promote the organization and their upcoming home show, Drums Along the Rockies.

The corps has made appearances on several local TV and radio stations, played the National Anthem for a Colorado Rockies game and is looking forward to "Blue Knights Day" in Denver on Tuesday, July 12. "It's important for the Blue Knights to maintain a strong presence in the Denver market," stated corps director Mark Arnold. "The relationship we have with our community is critical to our success as an organization. It's that relationship that enables us to maintain our show at INVESCO Field and makes things like bringing the DCI World Championships to Denver possible."

After several performances in downtown Denver on the 16th Street Mall, the corps will travel South to Pueblo, Colo., to meet up with the Santa Clara Vanguard and the Academy from Phoenix for a joint public performance and clinic on Wednesday, July 13. "We are looking forward to having a great time together in Pueblo," said Arnold. "This will be a great opportunity for the folks in Pueblo to meet our corps up close and personal, and for the members of our corps to get to know each other."
