“I’m Doug Hall and I am aging out with the Blue Stars this summer. This is my third year with the corps and I have played mellophone all three years. This picture was taken in Greenville, Mich. The Blue Stars and Impulse were housing next door to each other for a couple nights, so one night we performed our shows for each other and afterwards both horn lines, our 17 members and their 45+ members, circled up and played some power chords … frickin’ amazing!
