Andy Tye will again be serving as the brass caption head after a successful season in 2006. Tye was a lead baritone with Star of Indiana for three years, aging out in 1990. After aging out he served as a brass instructor with Star of Indiana, as well as the Minnesota Brass and Carolina Crown. Tye arranges music and designs visual programs for bands from all over the U.S. and Canada, and is a much sought after instructor and clinician. "I am thrilled to continue my relationship with The Blue Stars horn line, said Tye. We made tremendous strides in 2006, and 2007 promises to be even better. The dedication of the members, volunteers, alumni and administration is a sign of great things to come for this organization." Read more on www.bluestars.org.
