This drum corps work of art, not unlike the Emanuel Gottlieb Leutze masterpiece, is from Ashley Studer, a member of Bluecoats' color guard from 2001 to 2006.
You never know what you may encounter during the summer. This day the Bluecoats opening sabre line happened to find a canoe just sitting on the side of the road. Obviously a canoe on the side of the road is the perfect thing for a photo op.
These are some of the most talented and wonderful people I know. It was a blessing getting to march with them—some of them for five years. Pictured here: (left to right and back to front) are Chris, me, Kyle, Tyler, Lance, Jimmy, Bobby, Brandon, Kayley, Karen, Rebecca and Rosie. Get it BCCG swords!
Thanks, Ashley!
