"Sebastian (far left) was marching his third year on baritone at Colts, and Aaron (corps nickname: Pilates -- don't ask -- third from left) was marching his second with the Colts baritone line. Our oldest, Brendan, (second from left), lives in the Rogers Park area of Chicago with his wife, Jen. And Clark (far right) had just finished his fourth year at Western Illinois University. Mom, dad, Brendan, Jen and Clark had just sat in the rain to watch the Colts march in an Independence Day parade in a Chicago suburb. Then we all met up at the Colts' housing site for a holiday get-together. With everyone in a different city (Sebastian attends Truman State in Kirksville, Mo., and we live in West Des Moines, Iowa, where Aaron attends high school), it's rare anymore when all four brothers can be in one place at the same time.
