This was taken during the Madison Scouts’ photo shoot in front of the Madison Capitol building during the summer of 2007. My brother, Paul Black (’03, ’05, ’07), is on the left and Philip Black (’07, ’08) is on the right. This was our first year to ever march together including our high school years. It’s awesome having someone you live with and already know be with you during your first summer of drum corps. Now my brother is working on becoming an English and history teacher in the Dallas metroplex, and I am in the U.S. Marine D&B Corps. Family sure is great!
