From the Cavaliers Web site: On Friday, July 8 the Cavaliers brass section diverted from a daily rehearsal in Keokuk, Iowa to perform an early morning "Stars and Stripes Forever" and "Star Spangled Banner" at the McDonald's Corporation's annual tehnology dvision golf outing for the three Ronald McDonald Houses in the greater Chicagoland area. McDonald's chief information officer David White welcomed the 66 brass players and drum major Aaron Brizuela as he introduced the brass while they entered to the Sousa march.
"It was our privilege to be a part of the effort to raise funds for such a worthy cause as the Ronald McDonald Houses in our own home region. We were happy to do our part on behalf of all those families who will benefit from the record amount of money raised by this year's outing." said corps director Jeff Fiedler. A video vignette of the Cavaliers performing at the golf outing is available in the DCI Season Pass.
