The Cavaliers of Rosemont, Ill., won the Masters of the Summer Music Games in Murfreesboro tonight, scoring 94.85.The Cadets scored 92.65, earning second place, ahead of the Blue Devils (92.05) and the Santa Clara Vanguard (91.95)."This was, without a doubt, the most intense performance to date," said Cavaliers corps director Jeff Fiedler. "It wasn't without flaws," Fiedler noted, saying that the entire corps still needs to "focus on all 11 minutes and 15 seconds of the show."Fiedler said that in the coming two weeks before championships in Madison, the Cavaliers would work to "be the best we can be on the night of August 10," adding that the corps wants to "max out our performance of 'Frameworks.'"The Cavaliers scored 93.25 at a contest in Kennesaw, Ga., earlier this week, ahead of the Blue Coats, who scored 86.20.
