Drum corps experience: Blue Stars 2006 (bass drum)
What is your favorite drum corps story? Last night when we were practicing in the rain. It wasn't really feasible to do it, but the entire corps wanted to do it. Not because we were pushed to, but because we wanted to. What is your favorite moment in your show? During the drum feature, when we come in the front and play as a line together. Everything we've been working on really falls into place. What made you choose the Blue Stars? The Blue Stars were very supportive of me missing nearly half the season due to the medical school program I'm in.

What do you miss most from home? My family. What were you most looking forward to before tour? Has it lived up to your expectations? Just being able to play in a drum line that belongs to a corps. That's what I've wanted to do since I was 12, when I saw the Cavaliers warm up in the parking lot at the Houston show. It was just after I had moved to the United States. Also, working in the summer heat from 7 a.m. until the sun goes down. Anything else you want to say? I want to thank Jason Hall, who really inspired me to be in a drum corps. I still look up to him.
