Blue Devils
Registration is now open for the Blue Devils’ 2012 System Blue Live Events Educational Series. Color Guard, percussion and leadership camps are scheduled for several locations across the United States from early June into mid July.
Blue Stars
The Blue Stars are asking that you “make an impact” by signing up to volunteer with the corps. A complete list of upcoming rehearsal camps and summer tour stops is available on the corps’ website so you can plan your schedule.
The Cadets
The Cadets are seeking donations to help outfit a new equipment trailer that the corps wants to have on the road for the summer of 2012. You can have your name immortalized on the outside of the trailer with a contribution of $500 or more.
Crossmen
The Crossmen recently announced the launch of “eXtra,” an entertainment company focused on assembling small performance groups for corporate and other special events in Texas. “We have had many performance opportunities over the years since the move to San Antonio that didn’t require the presence of entire corps but were great performance opportunities for young people associated with the Crossmen and great fundraisers to help support our non-profit mission,” Executive Director Fred Morrison said.
Glassmen
At the end of January, the Glassmen completed a series of performances with the Toledo Symphony Orchestra. Check out a video slideshow of highlights from the concerts on the corps’ website.
Jersey Surf
Jersey Surf mourns the recent passing of John C. Wolfrom, the former director of Black Watch Drum and Bugle Corps. Wolfrom was a longtime supporter of the Surf and the entire drum corps activity.
Pacific Crest
Pacific Crest’s alumni association is sponsoring a fundraiser for the corps on Monday, Feb. 13, at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Brea, Calif.

Racine Scouts
The Racine Scouts are recruiting volunteers for Bingo games in February, March and April, as well as the Racine Solo and Ensemble event on March 24, in Racine, Wis.
Revolution
Revolution’s February rehearsal camp will take place at First Presbyterian Church in Kerrville, Texas, Feb. 24-26.
Santa Clara Vanguard
Santa Clara Vanguard has added a bunch of new videos for February to SCV-TV, its subscription-based premium content website.
Thunder
Thunder’s February workshop rehearsal will take place Saturday, Feb. 11, at North Pines Middle School in Spokane, Wash. Those interested in joining the corps for the 2012 summer season are all invited to attend this free event.
