Blue Devils The Blue Devils' new DVD/Blu-ray, "Inside the Blue Devils 2010" will begin shipping Nov. 29. Fans can take advantage of special pre-order pricing but only for a limited time.
Blue Devils B Blue Devils B's annual post-season awards banquet will take place this Sunday, Nov. 7 at the Concord, Calif. Hilton. Tickets cost $40 per person.
Blue Stars The Blue Stars will hold their annual parent and volunteer meeting on Friday, Nov. 19 coinciding with the corps' first audition camp of the season in Indianapolis.
The Cadets The Cadets announced plans to increase their horn line by eight members in 2011. Bringing the total number of brass musicians up to an even 80, the line breaks down to 24 trumpets, 16 mellophones, 24 baritones and 16 tubas.
Cascades The Cascades recently announced new and returning members of its 2011 administrative team. The group will once again be led by director and CEO Sal Leone.
The Cavaliers Cavaliers founder Don Warren will be featured on television this Sunday, Nov. 7 during the Chicago ABC affiliate's "Chicagoing with Bill Campbell." Warren, along with board members Dave Flynn and Don Heitzman, were interviewed for the weekly program which "showcases Chicago's rich history, the promise of its future and the people, places and possibilities of Chicago today."
Colts Colts made two announcements this week outlining its brass and color guard staff for the 2011 season.
Crossmen Crossmen made several recent staff announcements including its visual caption leadership and percussion staff members for 2011.
Genesis Genesis made several recent staff appointments including color guard caption head, visual designer and percussion designer.
Glassmen Jason Rinehart has been named the Glassmen's 2011 brass caption head. "Jason promises to be a tremendous addition to our staff and an exciting step as we embark on our 50th anniversary season," said Glassmen Executive Director Brian Hickman. "I cannot wait to hear the wonderful things he will do with Don Hill's musical arrangements!"
Jersey Surf Jersey Surf is busy with its planning for the 2011 season. "The coming year will prove to be the most successful in our history; drawing on a passionate and invigorated alumni base, a strong foundation of volunteers, a highly-motivated team of returning veteran members and thanks to all that has been taking place with behind-the-scenes planning over the past few months," said Executive Director Bob Jacobs. Among the corps' priorities is "bringing experience home" with the return of brass education director Tim Bartholomew.
Madison Scouts After the completion of its annual board meeting last Friday, Oct. 29, the Madison Scouts give a rundown of last year's financial highlights as well as plans for 2011 and the future. "I'm pleased with the progress we have made in stabilizing and building on the financial matters of the organization," said Executive Director Chris Komnick. "We were able to deliver positive results on the field, deliver a great experience to our members and keep the organization financially viable."
Pacific Crest Pacific Crest's front ensemble will be led in 2011 by new staff member Andrew Bill.

Racine Scouts The Racine Scouts have made several new staff appointments for the 2011 season. The group will be led by corps director Jonathan Belott and associate director Mathew Lunsford. View a roster of 2011 staff members on the corps' website.
Spirit of Atlanta Todd Snead, Spirit brass co-caption over the last two seasons, has been promoted to the position of corps director. "Todd is an exceptional teacher and has had a tremendous impact on the corps during his tenure. His experiences as a performer, teacher, and administrator will be a strong addition to our administrative team as we move forward," said Executive Director Joel Vincent.
Teal Sound Teal Sound board member Jon Kersten passed away last week after a battle with cancer. "Jon has been around drum corps all of his life. He was truly a giant in the pageantry arts in the State of Florida and U.S. Jon is the founder of the Florida Marching Band Championships and was a pioneering leader in the industry," said board president John Wilkerson in a post on the corps' website.
Velvet Knights The Velvet Knights announced members of its 2011 instructional staff. The group will be led by program and staff coordinator Ken White.
