Blue Stars
After inducting its inaugural members last year, the Blue Stars Hall of Fame Committee is now accepting nominations for its newest class. All nomination letters must be submitted by Thursday, March 1.

Boston Crusaders
ustin Heimbecker will join the Boston Crusaders management team as assistant director. He will work with Executive Director Tom Spataro and consultant Bruno Zuccala to “aid in management of the corps from top to bottom.” “[Justin] is passionate about the activity and is widely regarded as a terrific administrator with unparalleled skill and dedication. We are truly fortunate to add him to our team,” Spataro said.

The Cadets
February will be Cadets history month during which the corps will feature historical pictures, videos and factoids on its Facebook and YouTube pages.

Carolina Crown
Carolina Crown gives thanks to all of its supporters who made donations to the corps during the holiday season.

Cascades
Cascades Caption Head Vern Johnson gives fans an inside look at the corps’ percussion section in a recent video shot at the group’s January rehearsal camp.

Colts
The next rehearsal for the Colts will be Feb. 10-12 in Dubuque, Iowa. The corps still has open positions in its brass, front ensemble percussion and color guard sections.

Genesis
Genesis is holding a raffle to raise funds for student tuition and other expenses. Prizes include LCD televisions and iPods.

Glassmen

Impulse
After completing its January audition camps, Impulse reports that it still has available positions in its mellophone and trumpet sections. The corps’ next rehearsal will be Feb. 12 in Huntington Beach, Calif.

Legends
Legends will host its February rehearsal camp the 17th through the 19th in Kalamazoo, Mich. The corps currently has several openings in its brass and front ensemble percussion sections.

Madison Scouts
Madison Scouts alums will be hosting the 12th annual “Rockin’ for a Cure” on Saturday April 21, in Madison, Wis. The musical charity event founded in 2000 by the late Scouts alum Steve Weekes, raises funds for the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) Association Wisconsin Chapter.

Mandarins
Mandarins have developed a USA Tour Program that is specifically geared toward offering students from Japan the opportunity to travel to the United States and join the corps for its summer tour.

Pacific Crest
Pacific Crest has openings in its brass section and will continue to audition members through the winter and spring

Revolution will host a two-day “open call” audition camp in the Houston area March 3-4, for all sections including assistant drum major.

Santa Clara Vanguard
Don’t miss Santa Clara Vanguard’s Birthday Dinner scheduled for Saturday, March 3 at the Vanguard Corps Hall. Tickets cost $12 per person or $130 for a reserved table of eight. This annual event features the debut performances by the Vanguard and Vanguard Cadets.
