
Boston Crusaders
Are you planning on attending East Coast Classic Friday, Aug. 6? The Boston Crusaders organization has put together a fan guide to give you the rundown of the day’s events. You can avoid the pre-show traffic jam by arriving early to eat and watch the Boston Crusaders rehearse before the event begins.

The Cadets
The Cadets’ color guard uniforms are getting re-vamped for this Saturday’s performance in Allentown, Pa.! Be first to check out color guard members’ new threads Saturday at J. Birney Crum Stadium during the DCI Eastern Classic, one of the most traditional and longest-running DCI Premier Events.

The Cavaliers
The Cavaliers may not have been able to control the lightning that canceled the Cavalcade of Brass event July 11, but they can give fans another performance: On Monday, Aug. 9, the Cavaliers present a free performance of “Mad World” at North Central College in Naperville, Ill. starting at 8 p.m.

Colts

Forte
What’s the best way to stay in touch with Forte from now through the end of the DCI World Championships? Use the corps’ Facebook Fan Page to check the corps’ progress as the season comes to a close.

Glassmen
The Glassmen annual awards banquet will be held once again at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Indianapolis on Sunday, Aug. 15.

Legends
The Legends organization is sponsoring the upcoming Open Class event, Silk City Rhythms, Saturday, Aug. 7. It starts at 7 p.m. with a lineup of nine Open Class corps in one of the last events before the DCI World Championships.

Les Stentors
On Aug. 2, Les Stentors broke the 70-point mark for the first time since 2005. The corps is doing well on its last week of the summer tour, but currently needs some help with volunteers. For more information, check out the corps’ website. Note: Page is in French and may need translation.

Oregon Crusaders
The Oregon Crusaders are rising fast, and as of Aug. 4 the corps is second place in the unofficial Open Class standings. See the corps’ pre-tour gala performance on the DCI Fan Network.

Madison Scouts
The Madison Scouts’ brass ensemble performs an arrangement based on “Bohemian Rhapsody,” the piece that won first place in its category at the DCI Individual & Ensemble in San Antonio, July 23.

Mandarins

Pacific Crest
Pacific Crest is selling its 45-foot trailer, which is in good condition. It has newer paint, rims, tires, and breaks, and it has passed a recent audit by the California Highway Patrol.

Phantom Regiment
Several Phantom Regiment members were honored this past week: Dieter Orkisz, longtime member of the food crew, received the Chevron Award for his service and dedication. Two scholarships also went to outstanding corps members: the Diane Thompson-Wells Scholarship to fourth-year member Lea Conrad, and the Nikki Ely Memorial Scholarship to third-year veteran Midori Eng.

Racine Scouts
The Racine Scouts will compete in their home show at Music on the March in Greendale, Wis. Aug. 6. Starting at 7 p.m., watch the showdown between Racine Scouts and Forte, Les Stentors, Revolution, Raiders, Blue Devils B, Oregon Crusaders, and the Colt Cadets
